A mighty peculiar MySpace bulletin posted by The Official Bobby Banhart Fan Site at 11:54 a.m. today (and a blog post) claims that a source at MTV said Kristy wins (wait, who’s Kristy?), that there’s gonna be a third season and Tila’s just in it for the money (well, no duh!).
Here is the bulletin filled with all sorts of allegations (all of them rumors for now — well except that Tila’s looking for money and not for love. C’mon, that’s a given!):
I was informed by someone at MTV that Kristy Wins at the End
MTV told her to drop the key so they could do a season 3
For Ratings
For Money
Tila is making $125,000 per episode, while the contestants make $100 a day
Im putting this out there because she really made Bobby look bad at the end of season 1.
She cant keep her story straight, one minute she says Bobby Left her because he couldnt handle being around cameras
However, He was filmed everyday for 6 weeks when they did the show. thats a little weird that you see it that way Tila.
Also Now she is saying she left Bobby because he used her for Fame.
I do recall her Saying at New Years eve that He left her because of her schedule.
Please clarify it for us Tila.

My dad works for a big marketing business for TV shows and I asked him on his advice of the show and this is what he told me after seeing a couple of shows together……
First, there is a pattern on how Tila eliminates her (employees) yes I did say employees because the show is not real. The people on the show might think Tila wants love but she is using them
Second, you want to entertain the audience (tv viewers) so Tila will keep a drama guy or drama female longer than another person who is more her type because drama people entertain!!
Third, everything is a game on the show. Why do you want to have games to earn one on one dates. If she wants to find “Love” then she can have the solo dates with the person who she wants to know more of.
Fourth, the producers of the show will give Tila advice on how the show should run in order to get more ratings. It is a basic marketing strategy in which any person in the marketing and TV business knows about
Finally, look at season 1 and season 2 and you will see the same kind of things happening from the first season and the second season

Sarah, we’d love to hear more info from you!! We love reality TV, but it’s a sad fact that much of it is staged. Not saying that everything on Shot at Love is scripted, but all of the challenges, etc., makes it very VERY formulaic. Much like every reality show ever. Love to hear more insider info though!

the show is real. i am good friends with one of the contestant from season one, who confirms it is real too. and the reason the have games to win dates? so the contestants don’t get bored sitting around. the house isn’t fake. they already said they were using the house from rock of love. why would she be it it for $125,000 per episode? she makes way more with her other career. Tila isn’t always around the contestants, so she doesn’t always know what kind of drama goes down. and i agree with Tilaroxx45, if the show is fake, word would’ve gotten to the media a long time ago.

If Tila was all about love she wouldn’t have gotten rid of Lisa. Tila was more real with her than with anyone else in the house. They’re the only 2 that acted like a “couple”. Honestly, this shit is so predictable if you think about it. In the first few episodes, she keeps Chad on. Do you guys honestly think they had a connection? no, he was just there to cause drama and up the ratings. Have you ever noticed that she always keeps the same amount of guys AND girls every episode? And of course she eliminated Brittany because it always has to come down to a battle of the sexes. She picked a guy last season, so it didn’t surprise me when I heard she was going to pick Kristy. It also didn’t surprise me when I heard Kristy wouldn’t except the key, making room for yet another shot at love. Not to mention, this season was absolutely ridiculous. When glitter said she wouldn’t judge anyone and Tila shot back with “it’s like she was attacking me!” That chick needs to get over herself. She also gets upset because, oh no, not everyone on her show may be falling in love with her. She sent Lisa home because she said she wasn’t in love with her. Also, when she said “I’m willing to meet your families, but how far are you willing to go for me?” seriously, making them get tattoos of your name, walking on glass and shit like that? How about you prove yourself to them. Meeting their families, big effing deal. My point is that reality shows often follow patterns and when a shot at love 3 comes out, she’ll keep a douche bag on because he/she causes drama. She’ll probably pick a guy and make them do ridiculous shit and take them to Mexico. I’m not here to hate on Tila (I’ve seen every episode and think it’s mildly entertaining and I’m sure she’s a lovely person) but she’s selling herself out, how many seasons can she have before will start to catch on? I honestly think she’s having an identity crisis, she’s most likely straight or lesbian and can’t figure out what she wants because she’s far too oversexed. She was probably sexually abused when she was a kid, this tends to produce a lot of sexually confused people who come off way too sexual in their personality (I’ve had friends who had been sexually abused when they were kids, and most are either gay or bi, and talk about and joke about sex non-stop)

Personally, I dont think the show is completely staged. I believe that there are elements of the show that are fake, but there are also elements that are real too. People say that Tila is fake, and maybe she is. But even “fake” people have feelings. And in that season finale she looked really hurt when Kristy ditched her. And I have nothing against Kristy because she was just being honest, but Kristy is forever going to be known as the girl who dumped Tila Tequila.
